surely not!
Bsc glasgow groundshare with alloa? 34 miles apart! Means they'll be playing a good few away games closer to home than their home games!
Patches O'Houlihan
I am not going to get into a protracted debate about this, but the facts are we are moving 35 miles from Glasgow to an excellent facility. We have tried, and been rebuffed several times, in our quest for our own piece of land. We are continuing with the search and are hopeful of having a positive outcome soon. gaz5
Odd one, but works for me, I can walk to that away game now if it's a nice day! :-)

Make sure they water it for you, the Recs is the stickiest astro in the world on a nice day. Other than that, you're right, it's a very good setup for our level. newcastle broon
Another astro... Jeeeezo! Is this some kind of record for the level of fitba it's at ?
LongTimeLurker
So BSC Glasgow are playing in Alloa, Stirling Uni are playing in Falkirk and Edusport might be playing in Stirling? This is getting a bit surreal.

This is getting a bit surreal. Coventry City played at Northampton not that long ago. South Shields played at Peterlee, Gateshead were all over the north east one season, Carlisle played the north west after the floods. I'm sure bsc will only be temp till they get sorted
Marshmallo
This is really daft. I've only watched BSC a handful of times across the last two years, but the crowd seemed to slowly be increasing every time I went. I wouldn't say anyone had an affinity to the club but a few more people were wandering along to take in a game based on my observations (no idea if any stats back this up). That'll be completely gone now. No one will follow this club to Alloa and no locals in Alloa will come out to watch them. Concessions need to be made to get at least some Junior clubs onside and part of the pyramid.

I like the Lowland League. Its very nice of you to move all your teams to grounds so close to us

The newer generation of carpets are way better than the horrible early versions. Montrose are another who upgraded theirs (last summer).
Adam Spark
Hawick and Civil are admitted http://www.bordertelegraph.com/sport/14540583.Hawick_Royal_Albert_admitted_to_the_Lowland_League/
LongTimeLurker
Only surprise is that it is said to have been close in voting terms, so somebody actually wanted Edusport in.
Robert James
Well at least Hawick has a good ground and floodlights, in a town with a 15,000 population. The Strollers aren't likely to be on the move anytime soon, as they have only recently upgraded their ground. But what about East Stirlingshire ? How much longer will it take the club to move from Stenhousemuir to a new ground of its own ?
craigiemack
Really can't see us moving out of Ochilspew anytime soon. With Falkirk Juniors folding it does I suppose possibly open the chance of the Grangemouth Stadium but still don't see that happening.

I take it that's why Camelon have signed a few of their guys?
