For large chunks of the campaign, he (almost literally) single-handedly kept them in matches. DR - Shay Logan (Aberdeen) There wasn't a lot of great play from right backs this year - and tremendous play from one particular left-back, therefore necessitating the inclusion of both - so Logan almost takes this default. In fairness, after a rough opening couple of months by his standards, he really came on to a game in the second half of the campaign. DC - Andrew Davies (Ross County) Davies was imperious at the heart of County's defence. Not only an excellent defender, the Englishman proved himself to be a real leader on the park and lifted the club's first ever piece of major silverware with the League Cup final victory over Hibs. DC - Igor Rossi (Hearts) Arguably the most underrated defender in the top flight. He missed out on a place in the PFA Team of the Year, with club-mate Alim Ozturk getting in ahead of him. While the Hearts captain had a stellar year in the Ladbrokes Premiership, his play didn't quite match the consistently high standards of Rossi. DL - Kieran Tierney (Celtic) An incredible debut campaign from the teenager. You could count on one hand the number of games he had that wouldn't be described as "brilliant". Celtic's best defensive player by far. MC - Graeme Shinnie (Aberdeen) Shinnie spent some time at left back but it was in the centre of the park where he showed his versatility. His energy and ability to drift to the ball wherever it was made him an asset both in defence and helping to launch Aberdeen attacks. MC - Tom Rogic (Celtic) The Champions' most consistent attacking player outside of Leigh Griffiths, this was a real breakout year for the Australian midfielder. He contributed a number of goals and assists and helped knit together the Celtic attack in the final third thanks to his excellent close control and passing. MC - Arnaud Djoum (Hearts) The complete midfielder. Djoum is terrificly skilful, knows his way to go and is composed on the football. At the same time, he isn't afraid to get stuck in, battle with opponents and win the ball back for his side. AM - Jonny Hayes (Aberdeen) Coming off a strong 2014/15 campaign, Hayes somehow got even better as his pace, strong running ability and wicked cross, from either foot, made him a complete nightmare for opposing defences. FC - Leigh Griffiths (Celtic) What can you say? Highest goalscorer in the country, best player in the country and certainly the most valuable individual in the entire SPFL collective. The next step is to be a dominant force for Scotland, and in Europe, but if he continues his progression he should reach those objectives easily. FC - Kane Hemmings (Dundee) The bookmakers who had the Dundee hitman all the way out at 80/1 to finish top scorer at the start of the season clearly hadn't done their homework. Hemmings' pace, power and finishing ability, all things that made him a star with Cowdenbeath, transferred effortlessly to the top flight. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's not a bad team in general, but when you've got that kind of track record, everything you say should probably be taken with a pinch of salt. That's your opinion I saw him in 20+ games this season and as was previously mentioned he kept our houndings to single figures at times this season . It's no surprise that a Killie fan who started a thread would place him in goal . He was our only standout player in a turgid season.
