The leagues best players

Recommended Posts

I think it's tough to answer mate as most supporters of teams will only see their opponents 2 or 3 times.

I'm sure a lot of Leith players will get a mention though, in particular Scott Wilson.

But I think you could go through each team and pick out their best player to be honest. All about opinions though so could be an interesting thread.

What i like about leith is yes they have alot of players but they click as one unit and the whole teams plays well and the leith management have done a great job there. A like the dark hair lad upfront for Lothian.

both teams have cracking players and both teams should be in the LL but sadly neither have made any attempt over the years and are happy winning the EOS

Leith will probably find that like Lothian last year their better players will move up rather have to play  another year in the Eos which is sadly dwindling and will prob be losing Craigroyston , Hawick and Strollers

Sadly you are correct

I cant see any decent players wanting to play more than 1 season at EOS but Leith with the lure of the Scottish may have a chance of holding on to some

Most of leiths better players have played higher but it  didn't work out for what ever reason so may be happy to stay where they are

Lothian will strengthen again but its almost a 2 team league now but good luck to all

Sean Murphy and Lewis Martin from Leith and Robbie McIntrye from Tynecastle are the 3 players nominated.

3 very good players who could all be playing at a much higher level. I think Skip will win it though

As a matter of interest how do players get nominated??

I think each club has to pick 3 players from the league that they've played against. Don't know if the team managers pick or committees?

Thanks for that. A wasn't sure how it worked out etc.
