Are Scottish cups about Anthony Stokes and nothing more

It could be argued that Anthony Stokes was in some way to blame for the two Ross County goals that led to Ross County winning the League cup.  At the same time, he scored twice in the Scottish Cup and forced the corner that resulted in third.

Are there other examples where everything seems to have hinged on one player

What did Stokes have to do with either goal County scored against Hibs?

The first goal was helped by Bartley, the second, Fontaine.

Maybe my memory is not so good, but as I recall, the first was a short pass to Stokes that Ross County took advantage of and scored.

The second was a ball about to go out of play but Stokes kept it on the pitch - and unfortunately for Hibs, Ross County then  grabbed it and kept possession until they scored.

My opinion of Stokes himself is neither here nor there.  I just think it is bizarre that one player is involved in every goal of both games, one bad (for him) and one good.

First goal was caused by a terrible attempt at a pass from Kevin Thomson, while the second was a disaster of an attempted clearance by Liam Fontaine (although maybe Stokes was involved in the build up to that one, I can't remember).

Never before seen a team win a cup final while being so absent throughout.
