2nd Division Promotion Race

Gartcairn Army

Recommended Posts

With a huge congratulations to Forth on winning the title, we a have the small matter of which other 2 clubs go up with them.

I am delighted that in our first season, Gartcairn are at least in with a wee chance of being promoted,

Lanark v Cambuslang Rangers (If Cambuslang win i believe they are promoted)

Benburb v Newmains (If Benburb win they are promoted)

EK Thistle v Gartcairn (If Gartcairn win and camby and Benburb draw or lose then we go up. If any of them drop point, its then in the hands of Port Glasgow when they travel to Newmains. If we win today and they fail to win then we go up in 3rd)

Newmains v Port Glasgow DTBC (If benburb or camby draw or lose then if Port win they will be promoted)

Correct me if im wrong lol

Well done to the promoted sides, very competitive and cut throat league, been enjoyable watching a large chunk of it.

Glad to see the young Bens side promoted as I particularly enjoyed watching their play, although Newmains beat them on the day.

Well done Newmains also, there was a point in the league when I would have put you up against any side and gave them a game, with winning the game a real possibility.

Hope all goes well for a very forward thinking committee and team. Next term for sure. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

Congratulations to Camby and Bens from all at Newmains. Very unlucky for Port and Gartcairn to come up just that little bit short of promotion. My first full season in the juniors and met loads of great people and committees en route. We will take it all on board and try to get Newmains in the mix next season.
