Queen's Park v Cowdenbeath / Cowdenbeath v Queen's Park

f**k it, I’ll start it then

Absolutely no idea how this is going to go. I know nothing about this Cowdenbeath side apart from they've obviously had a pish season but so did Stennie last season and they managed to narrowly beat us in the play off final. We’ve also been here before in the semis when we played 2nd bottom Arbroath in 2010 full of confidence, then it was all over for us after the first leg at Hampden. Bring it on but I'm not expecting a lot of goals over the 2 games

Is it free parking these days and non segregation in the South Stand?

Queens Park will have the tie won on Wednesday night. We will not score and they will score more than 1. We will not score at home. Nobody to blame really as we lack quality in all areas of the pitch. Unfortunate. Close the thread.

I see the Central Fife Times online website can't bring themselves to report both the Stenny and Stranraer game.

Must be fed up of typing up doom and gloom.

Hopefully they will have something positive to put up on their website after tomorrow's night playoff showdown

Neither of us has a clue about the strengths/weaknesses of each other. Anything could happen. Obviously, Cowdenbeath will go in as favourites but that'll suit us just fine. The important thing is not to put in one of *those* Hampden performances and play our way out of the tie in the first leg. If we can go through to Central Park with a lead or at level pegging then it's all to play for. We're a better side on the road.

Cowden are woefully weak in the middle of the park and if you've got boys who are up for a bit of a scrap, you'll walk over the top of them. Greig Spence is a nippy, elusive striker and Craig Sives is a big lump of a centre-back but if you can take control of the middle of the park you'll be in with a shout.

Vinnie Berry will fight for everything and is a very decent footballer as well. Was also hugely impressed by Liam Brown at the centre of the park at Annan on Saturday. He's just turned 17 and looked like a seasoned pro. Our problem has been putting the ball in the net and we'll need to take our chances if we're going to progress.

It might not seem it looking at our goals against but our defense is our strength at the moment.in the Stenny game it still took 3 calamitous mistakes from the keeper for all 3 goals but he's looked solid outside of that game and pulled off a few good saves at the weekend. The goal down at Stranraer came from an individual error by Sives but before those two games we'd conceded 2 goals in 5 games since Sives came in. Even including those it would be 6 in 7 so if you have a goalscoring issue I'm feeling slightly more confident, regardless of how pathetic our midfield is.
