HibeeJibee
Licence still pending, but almost secured: http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/st-cuthbert-wanderers-claim-south-7804079#Pc8PCbCVSdGwuQF8.97 St Cuthbert Wanderers claim South of Scotland League title after 20 year wait ... Saints have lost just once in the league so far this season – to closest rivals Edusport Academy – and are likely to play in the Lowland League next season if they meet the licensing criteria. There is supposed to be a play-off between the South and East champions for the promotion slot, however it looks like Saints will automatically go up as none of the title contenders in the East of Scotland is likely to meet the criteria. Cameron said: “I’ll be there next season and I believe the licence will be in place by the end of the month. “The only thing that is needed is a toilet block to go in and it has been ordered from Glasgow. “I’ve been very fortunate in the players I’ve managed to acquire and to a man they’ve bought into the fact it’s a squad game. “Bryce Wilson was out on loan to Heston at one point and scored the winner on Wednesday and that shows the attitude they have. “Already quite a few of them are signed up for next season, I think about 70 per cent. “I’ve been looking to sign players who are already in the Lowland League but there are obviously restrictions in places with contracts and I wanted to wait until we knew we had won the league. For the next six or seven weeks it’ll be full-steam ahead.†Various local papers and D&GNews say Threave could apply for vacancy - alongside others - if desired. (Btw, definite vacancy as Cove's eliminated).
edinabear
So in theory, threave could reapply for a league position, despite finishing bottom? That doesn't seem fair in my opinion. Should go to someone new, hopefully someone like Linlithgow or clydebsnk

DFS69
do saints want to go up?doubt it as majority out there players do not want to play LL that is why they are at Saints,Probably wait until cut off for LL has past and then apply for their licence so that they can still play in Scottish cup, bearing in mind as champs they go into 2nd qual round
Clayhole Blue
do saints want to go up? Don't think they have any choice - unless they deliberately buggered up their licence application. Presume none of the licensed EOS league teams are going to win their title and force a play off with Saints?
