cartwright Posted April 18, 2016 Share Posted April 18, 2016 Hi Lads We have a query about the score for the Threave v Edinburgh Uni game Official site had 0-0 on Saturday but has since changed to 1-2. The BBC still reporting it as 0-0. Anyone with any details about where the error came from. Did the official site just take longer to update and people assumed 0-0 was the final score or did perhaps PA send that out to the media outlets? But it's a bit farcical as we were sitting with 11 points on the league table on Sunday. That was on the lowland league website and bbc sport website!! Then as soon as they realised there cockup they changed it back to 10 points!! But still sitting on 11 on the bbc website!! You have to laugh. I'm old enough to know that the EoS league didn't have its results on soccer Saturday because not every club agreed to phone in the result to sky sports at the end of the game! In 2016 with these smart phone things all it takes is one committee member to tweet the final score at 4.50. Problem solved.
