sweep
This project was meant to take between six and twelve weeks to give Cumnock a 3g pitch .The project is now long behind schedule. The contractor was meant to come back in three weeks ago but has failed to appear. What is the problem? did SEPA stop the job or did Cumnock object to the drainage system and in fact Cumnock stopped the job. What is the problem here perhaps somebody could tell the facts as to why the job was stopped

People need answers Did someone from Cumnock piss in your cornflakes??? Which people in particular need answers and why the implied desperation? Unless I`ve been misinformed (anyone from Cumnock feel free to correct me in the interests of stopping Sweep from having another ,meltdown) the flood management system was approved by SEPA and the contractor will return to site as soon as the required plant is procured (oh and the shit weather subsides to actually allow the works to progress)

happy
I am sure most cumnock fans have been very grateful to Lugar for their assistance through this development.
Bul21402
It has been very gratifying that Lugar have bent over backwards to assist Cumnock during the refurbishment of Townhead Park and I for one cannot thank the "usual suspects" at Rosebank for their help, particularly Bert Esquierdo, who we keep getting told " has no association with Lugar now" If that's the case, I hope we find someone like that who has " no association" with our club to do as much as he does But, back to the original point raised by the man who has had Harry/ Mathew Corbett ( and some other guy who I'm to old to know who he is) with their hand up his arse for many years Correct me if I am wrong ( which I am sure you will do ooh Sooty's boyfriend), but: A)Where did the 6 to 8 weeks figure come from ?? B) as you are in the know, please enlighten all posters of what the problem was with SEPA ?? C) where have the contractors been for last 2 to 3 weeks ?? D) Do Lugar not get a " fee" from Cumnock for the use of their ground on a Saturday when the ground would be idle, therefore giving them some extra revenue In summary : what the f**k is your problem

LeedsPhil
Funnily enough, just this morning I was wondered what the situation was since it had been said "second week of February, +/- a week", which is now. On the Cumnock twitter I found a link to an article dated Saturday 6th Feb in the local paper that said The club can now press ahead with plans to complete the work in the next six weeks. Which = Saturday 19th March at the earliest.

Bul21402
The problem is Lugars pitch is at breaking point and the Cumnock job has stalled So would you rather pass up on the extra income for Lugar What constitutes a pitch being at " breaking point" As another poster has said, sometime in March has been stated as the expected time of completion Once again, what is your problem?????? sweep
The Lugar secretary informed me last night I was wrong with the six to twelve week project. Cumnock asked him to be housed for a period of twelve weeks. Does anybody know on what date work will resume?
Bul21402
This is what happens when you listen to ill- informed people who are supposed to be " Cumnock minded" and start spouting information from " good sources" The original request was for 12 weeks and considering the hold up to change the original flood prevention measures to a more " crowd friendly " option and also considering the hellish weather, I don't think the project will be massively behind schedule at completion As to when work will start, I cannot actually say. It may have already recommenced , for all I know, as I have work to do and other things to attend to which stop me from going to the park every day to look for things to moan about and to gaze longingly at piles of dirt etc The job will be finished when it is finished and no amount of moaning will change that. Suffice to say, if my info is correct, the next 3-4 weeks ( weather permitting) will see massive strides forward in the project, but, as always, that is subject to change due to many reasons
