Does Ross county's win today not aspire you?

Surely today's semi final victory today against Celtic makes you wonder. I know this has been done to death, but some of you must be wondering how far your club could go? Linlithgow, Clydebank, Cumnock, Oban and the like surely should be thinking about the bigger picture. There has to be a way that will work for everyone.

I'm absolutely gutted for poor wee Celtic. They've got all these struggles and it's just so hard for them to compete without the sfa being absolute c***s to them. Boo fuckin hoo. Get it right fuckin up them.

As for the question, irrespective of their on-field achievements, it's evident that they're a brilliant role model for smaller clubs with aspiration.

The referee ruined the game and cost Celtic the match. It only inspires me to say the SFA are a shambles. Cost Celtic the treble once again by a ludicrous decision.

never Celtics fault...always someone else!!

Ross County were the better team and deserved their win. Celtic got far dodgier penalty for unintentional handball but Griffiths missed it. Always cheated never defeated

Why not ask it of your own club?

Always cheated never defeated as the saying goes. Definitely refreshing for Scottish football to see a wee club that used to prop up the Highland League back in the 1980s achieve something like that. You need a core support of around 1500 and a billionaire supporter to emulate Ross County. Don't think there any junior clubs that could easily do that, because it is easier to do when you are based beyond an easy drive from Ibrox and Parkhead. Elgin City were usually bigger than them in HL terms and they maybe provide an indication of what would have happened without Roy McGregor.

Certainly what it shows is that if Dingwall can deliver a senior side who can do really well then surely some day places the size of East Kilbride can do it-but I agree that the drain away of people to the dubious attractions of the Old Firm is always an issue.
