Falkirk v Raith

Recommended Posts

Still 2 weeks away, but thought I get it started early.

Would go with Hippo and Baird up top. Chances are Alston could be away so Mcgrandles in.

Get McCann in at RB and Muirhead next to Grant in the defence.

Rogers

McCann

Muirhead

Grant

Leahy

Alston/Mcgrandles

Kerr

Vaulks

Sibbald

Hippo

Baird

Is hippo not a wide player rather than a striker? 2 goals in 29 games for livi. So I hope he is.

Agree with shifting Muirhead inside and bringing in McCann. Sibbs must play in a central role.

Rogers

McCann Muirhead Grant Leahy

Taiwo

Vaulks McGrandles

Sibbald

Baird O'Hara

Subs: Mehmet, Watson, McCracken, Kerr, Alston, Hippolyte, Miller

Anyone know how long McHugh is out for?

Strongest 1-18 we've had since before we were relegated imo

Agree with the diamond midfield to allow Sibbs to play his best. Any reason for dropping Kerr? Been an an absolute stand out for me this year.

In a word, no. I agree with your assessment of Kerr, he has been terrific this season. Tbh I think Houston could play any combination of Muirhead/McCracken/Watson/McCann in beside Grant and Leahy, and Taiwo/Kerr and Alston/McGrandles in midfield beside Vaulks and Sibbald. With a two week rest before this game, it's probably a good argument to play Kerr. The main thing for me is getting Sibbald in a central role and no stuck out on the left wing, whilst keeping two up front.

Can't disagree with any of that. It's nice to have choice for a change.

No point in competing at ibrox if you cant put the same level of performance out against the likes of Raith. Game we must win and we should have more than enough to do so. At the end of the day the table doesn't lie but you've got to put the effort in week in week out .

Very little between the sides when we have played each other..but since then Falkirk have really upped things and really are a level above us right now.

A draw would be a superb result for us - Im treating this game as I would Hibs.
