babyelvis
Any games, apart from the ones on Astro, going to make it this weekend? Very doubtful given the rain over night and forecast is shit for tomorrow again, there may be something in this summer football theory

HibeeJibee
Everything is off waterlogged and/or snowbound, including 3G games at Leith and Spartans EOS. Rare occurrence of entire card being wiped-out.
junglehenry
I know folk have been asked to help clear snow from the 5 a side league nearby why clubs like Leith and Spartans can't do that to get a game of football on I'll never know
surely not! Takes a lot of people giving up a lot of time. Perhaps the volunteers weren't forthcoming.

I've helped clear pitches before yes, community clubs in sure help could have been at hand.

It could have been- but again you're relying on other people not necessarily attached to the first team.
junglehenry
Leith at home? The Astro was empty not a flake of snow to be seen.
surely not!
My general thoughts are that not all Of those pitches would have been unplayable. However, it's probably a decent decision based on the likely standard of the fare on offer of games went ahead in today's conditions. It will however cause issues towards the end of the season when some teams will inevitably end of playing a game of 'we can be the juniors' and play three games a week. HJ- has the final day of the EoS season been defined yet? Assuming it would need to fit in wit a potential play off scenario.
