The Second Andy Goram
Any Gretna fans able to help me out? Having done something similar on Football Manager to what happened to Gretna I have become very interested in the rise of Gretna through the leagues. Sky made a documentary on the rise and fall of Gretna last year called 'The Team That Vanished' and I was wondering if anybody either has the footage or knows where I could find it? *insert joke about me being a Rangers fan here*
mizfit
I'm working at the moment but im sure there was a video that was on youtube for a while. Watched it and felt sick to my stomach about that season.
Glenconner
Gretna didn't vanish, there's still a team called Gretna. You'd think a Gers fan would know that.

Francesc Fabregas
It's not exactly what you're looking for but I recorded a podcast with Davie Irons a month or so after the documentary came out. He talks a lot about his time at Gretna, his relationship with Rowan Alexander and Brookes Mileson, and what happened when they club went into administration. Lots of good stuff about Morton and Stenny in there too. CLICK.

If so I love your input when you're on it.
Romeo
Disappointed, read the title and though this was about that old Rangers team that used to play in the south side of Glasgow.
The Mantis
Gretna didn't vanish, there's still a team called Gretna. You'd think a Gers fan would know that. I think the crucial point here is that, unlike supporters of The Rangers, anybody associated with Gretna 2008 is at pains to distance themself from Gretna FC and to stress that it's a new club. The Second Andy Goram
Anton Hodge, former Chairman wrote a book recently about mostly the old Gretna. I have read a few books on it recently, I am really looking for this documentary but and was hoping there was a Gretna fan who had it saved. forever_blue
Thought this was another Rangers thread. Dunno hibs done a pretty solid vanishing act from the premier league in 2014 which would make a worthwhile comedy
The Second Andy Goram
Could we try and keep this on topic? Really wanting some help getting this footage. Does anyone know if there's any way I could go about contacting Sky for the footage if nobody on here knows of anyone or anywhere to find it? surely not!
Could we try and keep this on topic? Really wanting some help getting this footage. Does anyone know if there's any way I could go about contacting Sky for the footage if nobody on here knows of anyone or anywhere to find it? Imagine there would be. It was readily available through their 'on demand' service.
Francesc Fabregas
I've got the documentary saved on my Sky+ box. No idea how to transfer it onto another medium, though.

Somebody who understands this new fangled technology will no doubt be along shortly to tell you how to do it. Not me, though!
