In an extraordinarily generous gesture, with the somewhat 'notorious' Saughton Enclosure park apparently doubtful, LTHV has surrendered their home advantage in the replay. It will now go ahead on the artificial surface at nearby Spartans FC tomorrow.

Must say that I'm not sure I'd have been so accommodating. Huntly are presumably travelling tonight and staying-over, or tomorrow morning; whereas a postponement would have seen the tie tried upon successive Mondays & Wednesdays... meaning what players could do so having to get away from work at lunchtime, whenever the pitch was playable, before making a trek down to Edinburgh - avoiding the Forth Bridge as it transpires - ahead of the evening game at Saughton. Obviously playing it at a neutral venue, instead of LTHV's usual home, may have a levelling affect too.

On the other hand it's possible a fine surface may help LTHV as much as not playing at Saughton helps Huntly, and the extra cost may be outweighed by the chance of a better crowds with many local non-league games off.
