surely not!
I'll predict three groups of four and a group of three containing gretna, dalbeattie and the worst team in LL history.... The play offs with HL take place on 23rd and 30th of april which Obv will include a LL side. Do the powers that be hope that stirling or spartans win it so that they can play their reserves in it? Gonna assume that the LL champs won't enter the comp based on the dates.
Lowland15
Much better that the competition is at the end of the season as appose to it being over Christmas. Nobody wants to stop league duty right in middle of the season when it's getting serious!
HibeeJibee
That was all about being able to 'pad' the season while there were fewer than 15/16 clubs and therefore not enough league games. Knockouts have always been the end of the season. Made sense really as the regionalised groups provided derbies around Christmas and New Year. (Cue NB moaning about the groups ). So we could have ww, ed uni,Preston, city and Spartans in same group making sections a wee bit lop sided if it truely regionalised
