WSDR 88
It's games like this that manage to get grounds ticked off the list. Already looking at trains from Kdy to Elgin, probably go for the 09:34. Looking forward to the day out. As for Elgin, a bit of ignorant one from myself, how are they getting on this season? And any recommendations for pubs before the game etc? Cheers.
Yoss
Been to the ground once before, but not for a few years and I haven't seen Raith play there (have we ever done so?). I'm not imagining it's going to be an easy game by any means, but I'm looking forward to it already.
P.C
Train tickets already sorted for this one, a ground I have visited before so really looking forward to it
Paco
We've only played Elgin once since they came into the SFL, a 3-1 Challenge Cup win under Dalziel after extra time at the start of the 05/06 season. Davidson and Ellis both played, in a match also featuring Rovers legends Chris McLeod, Eddie Annand and Derek Ferguson. Should be a decent Rovers following (and by decent I mean a few hundred, nothing drastic).
elginite
We had a decent start to the season but recent performances are slacking decent home tie for us but will be a tough one maybe a decent crowd expected for this one
HIT THE CHANNEL
Booking Trains tomorrow - Only £30 which is very decent indeed. Looking forward to the trip already! What is the pitch like? Can't travel 4 hours on the train AGAIN (i.e. Inversnecky) for the game to be called off! Although this time we are not staying overnight at least... P.C
More importantly suggestions for few good pubs once we get through there Cheers in advance!
elginite
Pitch is usually perfect unless there's been a few days of downpour last year there was a problem were they had to put in more drainage. plenty of pubs in town muckle cross, granary or there's the social club in the ground
Raithie
Don't Elgin have a habit of scoring a shitlot of goals at home? I vaguely remember checking results, possibly last season, and seeing some high scoring games at their place.
elginite
Well our away performance are poor home performance aren't to bad use to score a fair few goals last season and lose just as near the same amount we scored in the same game defence was poor but improved from last season we have a few loan players from st johnstone but they've not been aloud to play in cup games so far
HIT THE CHANNEL
Glad to hear the pitch is not a serial 'flooder'. As for the game, it is certainly a banana skin on paper. If we switch on from the start I am confident we will win. If we are not bang at it, it could be difficult. Buzzing, 5 of us booked up on the half 9ish train from KDY. What kind of support will come up for this do you think? 2/300?

elginite
Well our average attendances are 500-700 usually the higher number when performances are well maybe a few more than usual cause it being a cup game
HIT THE CHANNEL
Had a look on google there, what area do away fans get? the covered area across from the main stand looks decent!

liam_barnett
Had a look on google there, what area do away fans get? the covered area across from the main stand looks decent! Was speaking to an Elgin fan that said normally there's no segregation you can go anywhere but if there's segregation then it's an area to the right of the area you mention. elginite
Never usually segregation but if so it's usually in the enclosure across from main stand in the left side plus there's a grass/concrete terraced area round the back of the goals also a wee pie shop in the enclosure there
