Choosing failed club managers as our National manager.

Not splashing the cash on a decent appointment.

Playing players on their reputation not their form.

Playing players because they happen to be at Celtic or play in England.

Giving our opponents too much respect - it seems that we've gone the complete opposite of the Ally McLeod days.

Playing 5-4-1 - fine if you are a top team with attacking midfielders who can support the lone man - but ours don't.

Picking guys who play in pishy English lower leagues

Picking guys who play in Scotland against "the likes of Dougie Imrie" every week

Being too defensive

Being too gung-ho

Exactly, added to the fact that 50,000 lemmings turn up at every home game for the routine humiliation (ours, not theirs), reinforcing a perverse, quasi-religious experience. TA? Time to get a feckin grip and stop being cannon-fodder. That's what happens to "footsoldier's" right?

In the past all players at all age groups have seen joining the old firm as the be all and end all where as the Irish and Welsh see England as the big carrot. This is changing these days and hopefully it will come to fruition in the not so distant future.
