welshbairn
^^^ a year early. P.S. How glamorous will be getting pumped out of the Scottish Cup by a team you've never heard of ?!? Almost like the Europa League!

welshbairn
Not really, just having my tea and watching a bit of telly. You? Have you found out where Formartine is yet or how to spell it?
HMFC-1874
Hmm. I'd rather not think about the next round yet. Still work to be done here. This will be a tough game, but definitely one that Formartine can win. We gave Elgin City and East Stirlingshire a good pumping in recent times and that was with a team not nearly as good as this one. We also now have in Kris Hunter a much better manager. If Clyde think that they are going to get things easy in this tie then they are in for a shock.
HTG
Got to love a Clyde fan trying to be all big time. Maybe in days of yore but not now. This will be a tough ask for them.
Strathman
"We gave Elgin City and East Stirlingshire a good pumping in recent times and that was with a team not nearly as good as this one. We also now have in Kris Hunter a much better manager." So the poorer manager managed to "pump" Elgin and East Stirling with a poorer team? No pressure on Kris then. I think Kris has a long way to go before being classed as a much better manager than Pele. He has made a good start.
CM.
While the Formartine team may be much better than previous years, so is ours. A banana skin of a tie but one I have confidence we'll progress in, even if we have to bring them to Broadwood for a replay.

No question Pele was excellent in his day, but those who know and follow Formartine will instantly recognise the difference in approach and contrast in the level of professionalism between Pele and Hunter. the_bully_wee
I've never even heard of Fortmarine. No doubt a diddy town packed full of utter bumpkins and retirees, with an utter shanner of a football team to match. Fortmarine 0-5 Clyde.

I woudn't worry, I'm sure Barry will have saved enough to pay for a coach with sat nav and enough diesel to take a bunch of neds up to to learn how football's meant to be played. david spivey
Formartine won't be easy for Clyde and if they play anything like they did against Nairn they'll proably win! But I'm gonna say 3-0 Clyde Gormley and Higgins to score for The Bully Wee!
ClydeSI
Really loving the match chat, but let's get real. Pubs, places to eat, etc in the vicinity. Thanks in advance.
NewBlue
Pitmedden is not a large village so possibly best heading into Ellon or Oldmeldrum where there are a few pubs and hotels. The ground is also outside the village so you can't really walk to it unless you fancy dodging traffic on the main road. If you fancy some fine dining then Eat on the Green in Udny Green (couple of miles down the road) is probably one of the best places to eat in the North East. CALDERON
Theres 2 decent pubs one of which does food also, all you need. You'll get better options going to Oldmeldrum, Inverurie, Ellon etc but then you have to start fannying about with country buses etc whilst blootered.
