Greenock Morton vs Perth St. Johnstone

Not the dra' I wanted but certainly an acceptable dra'. Our previous visit to Cappielow was a victorious one with that last gasp winner to send us to the semi-finals. I had a bottle of bucky on the bus on the way there and a couple in the Norseman, got pretty steaming. A good night all round. I think I'll be going to this one.

Don't think we could have asked for a better draw, certainly not going to be an easy game and St Johnstone will go into it as favourites but it was going to be like that with every game, with the pace of Samuel up front there's no reason why we can't win this.

Are the semi's this year at Hampden?

It'll possibly depend on who makes it, but I'm certain the Semis are generally played at Hampden, our one against Motherwell was a few years back and there was literally nobody there.

Anyway, a decent draw, but a home tie against anyone but Celtic wouldve been better IMO.

Morton will be better than the last time we faced them, but so will we, our patchy away form and proneness to have an awful 45 minutes randomly mean this is a hard one to call. All going well we'll have everyone fit and firing for this and I'll actually be able to make it.

We have our strongest eleven out and they don't play at their worst then I think we got through, can't see them living with Cummins, MacLean and O'Halloran, while we should have Anderson back integrated into an improving backline.

Looking forward to this. Always enjoy going to Morton away, even allowing for the sore legs afterwards.

Should be a good game. Morton will likely show us more respect than Rangers did and are more than capable of causing our defence a few problems themselves.

We've scored and conceded in every domestic game so far this season - fingers crossed we'll see a few goals again in this one.

Looking forward to being called scum again by some classy Morton fans as I was walking to my car minding my own business :)

Probably wasn't even your car, scum!

A trip to Greenock it is then, the place they used to build ships but now just a drug ravaged hell hole run by gangsters and the murder capital of the west of Scotland, grim.

Back to the fitba, Morton will be no pushovers and shouldnt be underestimated.

St Johnstone's dismantling of Rangers was impressive. Rangers strolling past us with 4 goals was expected by most outwith the Morton support. It would seem logical that we should struggle against St Johnstone. That may well be the case but I think we'll give them a decent challenge and might even produce another shock. I'm sure that our players will be less likely to freeze in this game and will play to their strengths with a 'nothing to lose' approach. A competent referee would also help
