First time i'd had a look around this set up in the Green. Or to give it its proper title Fleshers Haugh. It was here a group of young lads many decades ago started a team called Rangers. Can remember summer Saturday afternoons in the 1960s. My late father would start with taking me along to a football match in the afternoon followed by the dogs at Shawfield on a Saturday night then the shows at Glasgow Green, held on the old football pitches. So there was a few memories as i took in the Harestanes/Candy game. Reckoned this is the 20th game i've seen involving the Juniors this season. Fair play to Harestanes, their a class act and i'd reckon they'd give most Junior teams a fright. There was even a 50/60 crowd looking on at the match.
