Rudd Gulliet said he was 1 of the best players he's ever seen. I,m pretty sure he's more qualified than any poster on here. Plenty of great players - like McGrain, Goram, Dave McKay and Lennox. The most recent being Fletcher by a country mile at his peak. Due to my job (army) I've lived all over the UK, in Wales each adult amateur club had 1st teams 2nd teams and 3rd teams this was replicated in the juniors(kids clubs) dependent on numbers. It's exactly the same in Northern Ireland. Only last year I was on a course in Edinburgh and met a retired dinosaur from military, who said he works within the sfa, I pointed out what I seen on my travels regarding player participation at all levels from grassroots, that the systems in Wales and NI were brilliant and participation was a million miles ahead of what it's like in Scotland.
