MacGafraidh
Additional 304-seater: http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-news/crowd-capacity-set-double-east-6412116 someone at the Record failed Standard Grade Math "East Kilbride Community Trust have been given the go-ahead to construct a new 304-seater stand at K-Park Training Academy, almost doubling the ground’s seating capacity. A main stand, which seats 358 spectators, was completed in 2010 and the additional spectator area to the west of the existing pitch will take K-Park’s seating capacity to 658." 358 + 304 =
HibeeJibee
I think their numbers may be more out than that. Several sources including the K-Park facility website say the existing grandstand seats about 450? Have they filled the first one? They've been sold-out / approaching it on various occasions e.g. v Spartans in Scottish Cup, at LL groundhop, and friendlies v Clyde and Celtic U20s. Also the sightlines from the existing grandstand aren't great and I imagine a capacity of 650 would be a bit difficulty in practice if promoted to SPFL2. So in all of those respects it would seem to make sense to expand, most obviously for Scottish Cup ties or in the event of promotion.

MacGafraidh
I think that is great, shows great ambition and that stadium would do them all the way up to the Premier (if they got that far!)

LongTimeLurker
The key detail that is missing is who pays for it? Having said that I hope it happens and EKFC get into the SPFL in the not too distant future.
