Fans turned players?

Was thinking about this at the game on Saturday, and I'd be interested to know how many current junior players are playing for clubs they supported prior to playing. There surely can't be many. I'd imagine there's some great examples from back in the day, but it must be a dying breed now.

Turning this slightly on it's head - over the years we have been luck that a number of our players have taken the club to heart and a regular visitors at Linlithgow. These players are welcomed back with open arms by all.

Several have also come back and provided sponsorship via their companies. With Steven Cairns from MVS Commercials one such example sponsoring the back of our shirts.

One particular case was Keith Hogg arrived and his parents followed him home and away in support of their son. When he left they stayed and every Saturday are at Rose games. Indeed his mother is a regular helper in the pie hut. The same could be said of Tanks parents who are still regulars

But remember i was brought up in ruggie and i work there

I knew there had to be a reason for your obsession. Deep down in your denial there's black & white blood flowing through your veins, go on, admit it. ;-)
