Pitch played well tonight , looking good.

Trek for me tongiht to get to the game via public transport from glasgow , luckily made it in decent time only missing first few mins.

Overall from our perspective thought we played ok , not brilliant or good or rubbish , decent . Bankies played fairly well and will certainly do alright in the super first and challenge top 3.

Thought the first goal had a bit of luck about it with the bankies defender slipping but calm composed play from kevin watt found sawyers in the box to steer it home. Second goal was an clever bit of improvising by the excellent kevin watt to lob it over the bankies keeper . Sawyers rattled the bar from close in as well . Bankies had a few decent chances as well but we held it together at the back to keep a clean sheet.

Some stand outs for us Watt was a handful good movement , clever player always a danger , sawyers played decent held it up and some decent touches , big Danny Boyle at the back was commanding winning most things in the air and a danger at set pieces . Not to sure about one or two of the youngsters we have brought in need to see more of them.

Decent signs from us , with things to work on. Petershill for us next wednesday at guys meadow .

Rob Roy need a solid centre midfielder that can control a game and add a bit of steel in there. Also out wide need some quicker players that can get at the full backs to create chances for watt n willie

Agree with centre mid , we were missing Chris Duff tonight , our player of the year last season a wide man / creative type.

Think that was a decent summary. Disappointed with the goals ... and we didn't create enough but still managed to control much of the game. We should do ok I think

More or less agree with you there, Bill. While very happy for the a Rob Roy win, I thought the Bankies were very good last night and I'm sure you will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season. Good luck on Saturday when you start your league campaign.

Watched the game last night and was quite impressed by Clydebank .Only noticed 2.or 3 faces in the starting lineup from last year , looks like a very young squad but they look to have settled in well . The first goal was an unfortunate slip by the defender but typical sawyers finish, and the 2nd was for me naïve defending , but the boy finished well. Clydebank must have had 6,7 chances to hit the target from within the penalty box and dragged all of them wide, but over the piece I thought they played well . RobRoy will score goals but looked a bit ropey at the back . Clean sheet you say ??? but that was down to poor finishing by Clydebank... If they allow as many chances in the PL ,they will struggle to stay up

Aye on reflection we did have a number of situations that should have been more dangerous than they turned out to be but how many times did we trouble the Kirky keeper ? Rob Roy showed a lot of experience to close the game out without further troubling us ...anyway the performance - goals scored and not scored apart - was again encouraging. Real stuff starts on Sat

Fact is we got a clean sheet .We know we have it tough in the premier league but will give it a good go as we have a good bunch of boys who can also play a bit.

Good to beat Clydebank without playing at our best.

If the Bankies go forward and move the ball about as they did against us last week they will do fine in the league and I am sure come back up.Pace and creating chances as they do will from what we saw last year cause most sides problems

Bill's being too kind with the seeing the game out experience chat!

The amount of time wasting in the 2nd half from KRR was embarassing.

Good luck to them in the top division I think they're going to need it.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear. Not taking it very well are you. We may well struggle but can't do much worse than Clydebank did last season, if we do we should just chuck it.
