Saturday 15/8 ... Spartans v Whitehill Welfare

Guess the Lowland League's biggest fixture deserves a thread of its own.

Hopefully the same as last season and 3 points for the Welfare. We need to make sure we don't start dropping points off the teams at the bottom of the table.

C'mon the Welfare.

Aye why not. If sky can bum up a Stoke v Swansea game as top billing any weekend then a mid table Lowland League clash can get the treatment on p and b.

Don't tell newky though- he'd liken it to Leeds v Portsmouth, a kind of fallen Giants thing after some of his recent posts.....

It's a bit like Liverpool v Man Utd SN ... the Man City's and Chelsea's of the world can spend as much dosh as they like but they'll never generate the same interest.

Not sure the cash is relevant to the lowland league as an analogy- mind EK are amateur- but you're right re: the interest.

I thought it was our free week, I've promised her indoors I'd take her to Livi shopping world.

Anyone want my season ticket for the match?

Shops open at nine grim. Get them done and back to your but for three no bother. Simples.

If only, she wants to make a day of it, meal an shit, probably in that order, also I need the brownie points (no pun intended) for the City game on Sunday. She's sacrificing the Walton's.

Can remember the day you'd be 1st to drum up interest for the game.

Is it sign of times the teams no going so well that yer finding other interests on a Saturday ha.

I'm busy doctoring the Wednesday highlights just now. How was I to know we would be playing tomorrow?

I've never been down the Albert yet, when we do play there I hope it's not on a shopping day?
