Day will include all the usual, Bouncy castle, beat the goalie, BBQ, Bar for the adults, facepainters, kids entertainment and also some special guests for the kids. At 1 o'clock our Scottish Football Legends game kicks off, featuring Barry Ferguson, Bob Malcolm, Kevin Harper, Gerry McCabe, Brian Martin, John O'Neill, Davie Nichols, Davie Farrell and current Albion Rovers manager Darren Young, with more TBA. Gates open at 11am, £5 per entry (£2.50 concession) with proceeds going to MND Scotland in support of local hero Jimmy Johnstone and also Fernando Ricksen. Kids under 16 free and will also receive a free season ticket for Thorniewoods season 2015/16. Along with the players above, we've added Russell Latapy, Andy McLaren and hopefully Peter Martin with Tommy Sheriden possibly making an appearance. Special guest, Agnes Johnstone, widow of Jimmy Johnstone will be kicking the game off for us. Lots for the kids to do and a chance for them to see some proper legends of Scottish football. Weather looks as if its going to be ok, hopefully will encourage a few more people to come along. 1st time the club has done this and we're hoping to make it an annual thing.
