Gartcairn Army
Really excited to welcome Newmains to Airdrie on Wednesday with the game being played at the Excelsior stadium 8pm KO Not a lot of people know that without the help of some of the Newmains committee, Gartcairn would not be a junior team this season. It was only after some meetings with the lads and some excellent advice, we decided to start the first junior team in Monklands for over 80 years. Johnny Fallon has signed some excellent players and we are looking forward to a tough game and hopefully get a healthy we crowd. As a thank you to Newmains we are looking to give them 25% of the gate money - costs of course. Thanks

RobRoyGuy
i don't get the stick to yer own thread comment. did anyone? It's not rocket science. The whole point of starting club threads was so that all clubs info etc could be kept in the same place. What's the point in having a dedicated club thread if you are just going to start other ones for individual games Anyway guy can do what he wants, just saying!I am sure most get my point. Probably if you stated that first time round, nobody would have assumed you were at the wind up. Anyway, well done for posting what you really meant, and if i assumed wrongly then i apologise

BigBadBoaby
Great gesture to give newmains a cut Agreed fantastic no matter if its £20 quid or £2000 don't need to do it so well done. Onto the game Gartcairn for me will have too much quality going forward for Newmains on that big pitch at Airdrie. If McManus eligible (?) he will stick away the many chances they missed on Sat. Look forward to game actually.

Gartcairn Army
holly molly lads i started the thread to create a bit of interest in the fixture and to thank the Newmains boys end of story lol J Fallon thats a great idea and we are happy to put 25% to cancer research. I hope both teams are at full strength as it will be a very good game to watch.
glensmad
You're quite right to start a thread of its own, as I personally don't read the individual club threads unless my team has a current interest in the affairs of that club.
