Albino Rover
Take note Doncaster, it's back for another season. (Almost) the same rules as last year: Keep 1 up 1 down down but instead of play-offs add a "hot potato" element to the league like so: The biggest losers on the first day of the season get an "R" next to their name, and keep it until they win a game. The team they beat then gets the "R", and so on for 36 weeks. Whoever has it at the end of the last day of the season goes into a relegation play-off, no matter where they finish in the league. It's like half league/half cup. Playing the team plagued with the "hot potato" would turn into the most exciting game of the season! At the end of the season: 1st- promoted 2nd- promotion play-off "R"- relegation play-off 10th- relegated (If two or more teams share the worst result in week 1 the hot potato will go to whichever of the worst losers gets the worse result in week 2. By popular demand, if 1st or 10th has the "R" at the end of the season, the other teams will no longer draw straws for it. This season it'll go to a P&B poll.) Livingston become first to take the 15/16 Hot Potato, after a 3-0 defeat on Day 1.
Albino Rover
Another defeat leaves Livi with the HP. If it's any consolation, Killie, Brechin and Arbroath haven't been able to get rid of it either.
The_Kincardine
It may be there for a couple of weeks. They don't play St Mirren until the end of the month.

Albino Rover
Livingston still to record a win, and keep the Hot Potato. FWIW all the other HP holders are in the same boat.

Albino Rover
We've now had our first Potato sacking of the season. Will Ian Murray be the next? (Hopefully not. His record at Dumbarton is outstanding and in 2012/13 he rescued them from a worse position than St. Mirren are in now.)
Albino Rover
Murray keeps the HP. Jacket on a shoogly peg, etc.
The Moonster
Murray keeps the HP. Jacket on a shoogly peg, etc. Alloa still have it. Murray hasn't held it this season.
Albino Rover
Quite correct, I confused myself with all the cryptic unfunny potato puns. Apologies to Ian Murray, his friends, family and fans (if he still has any.) Alloa have the HP.
