After 2 games in DS must be on a shooglie peg if he doesn't get a run of wins under his belt, high expectations at Spartans and they want that SFL slot sooner rather than later

Seasons only 2 games in teams will take points of each other!

Give the lad a break.

Surely not has answered yer question.

Valid question yes but was it necessary to name names.

Expectations are the key here as well as style of play. Realistically what should be the expectations of each team? Committees tend to get frustrated when teams underperform or play unattractive football. Who falls into either category just now?

Teams who should be pressing for top spot are Spartans East Kilbride Gretna Edinburgh City BSC Stirling uni and Dalbeatie Star

All the rest are either in transition or simply not good enough at this moment in time

changes at gretna 2008 , ? new committee members and coach left , haven't been able to attend the 1st of 2 matches of season all be it played against the 2014-15 champions and EK , hopefully will get the results soon to take pressure off the the manager

If ye score 4 at home against a team widely tipped for bigger things then don't see where any pressure is makem.

Terrible start for Spartans. I'm sure we'll be hearing about some great 'unbeaten run'. Draw away to Stirling is ok, dropping points at home to Preston isn't. They'll not win this weekend either and I reckon you can count them out the running already. I think there is just 1 striker these days at Spartans. Used to be they just attacked the whole game. These days they seem determined to prove they can pass the ball. Sadly passes dont count for anything. They are not even that good at it.

City and East Kilbride look early doors to be the title contenders. Gretna have had a hard start but its a sore one not to have any points so far. Again, probably a sign that they won't be in the running for the title. Expect them to be up there though.

I'm sure you'll all say its too early to tell, but we can only go on what we've seen so far. Kilby will win the league this year.

I'm counting them both out. Just think Grenta have more about them than Spartans. Spartans issue last season was scoring goals. I'd suggest based on the fact they've only scored 2 in 2 games including 1 against a Preston team which lost 3-0 at home to Gala on the first weekend, that Spartans have made no progress and in my opinion will go backwards this season.

too early to count teams out! Spartans are missing important players at the moment, injuries etc, granted they do seem to be lacking a killer instinct in front of goal. This time of year some teams are not at full strength yet, for different reasons. Holidays etc.

Agree entirely Dal, but how about a different spin? Instead of ruling teams 'out', how about we rule teams 'in' based on what different posters have seen so far. Would anyone who has seen spartans rule them 'in' a title race?
