cowdenbeath
Seems the mass wipe-out of posts last week deleted my post about the shock of the First Round which was Edusport beating Dumbarton on penalties having drawn 1-1 after 90 minutes and extra-time. Bulk of R2 ties will be this coming weekend - although Whitehill Welfare 0-8 Dundee was on Sunday - but no details anywhere. As a footnote it seems a North of Scotland U20s League has been established involving at least Clachnacuddin, Lossiemouth (who have both entered the Youth Cup), Nairn, Forres and Alness United of the North Caledonian League (who all haven't or were too late). So it is only Dalbeattie and Selkirk who are forming-up teams especially. There's a full match report on the Dundee website.
HibeeJibee
Found this tucked-away on SFA website. All are Sunday, except Heriot-Watt Uni v Alloa + Aberdeen v Fraserburgh are Friday. Motherwell-Partick venue 'tbc'. Stirling Uni-Cumbernauld = Gannochy, not Forthbank. http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/resources/documents/ScottishCup/YouthCup2015/16/Fixtures%20-%20Youth%20Cup%20Round%20Two.pdf
HibeeJibee
Aberdeen 6-1 Fraserburgh Heriot-Watt University 0-2 Alloa Athletic Very creditable result for Heriot-Watt university: as an U20 competition they're largely limited to using freshers who only arrived at uni in the last week, and however many of those returning for second year were born in the latter half of the year... and indeed their twitter noted they only had one training session to prepare for this tie. It is for this reason that the traditional universities like Edinburgh and Glasgow have never entered.

HibeeJibee
Not a good weekend for HL clubs, but LL teams put up a decent showing. Can't find a result for Banks o'Dee v Clachnacuddin. So here's the R3 entry: SPFL Development League Aberdeen Celtic Dundee Dundee Utd Dunfermline Hamilton Hearts Hibs Inverness Kilmarnock Motherwell Rangers Ross County St Johnstone St Mirren (East) Alloa East Stirlingshire Forfar Stenhousemuir (West) Airdrie Ayr Morton Queen of the South Queen's Park Stranraer Aberdeenshire & District Development League Deveronvale ? Banks o'Dee North of Scotland Development League ? Clachnacuddin Lowland & EOS Development League Cumbernauld Edusport Preston No league Annan Selkirk Do the 16 clubs now entering at R3 (those which reached R4 last season) get seeded against the clubs advancing from R2, or is it just an open draw?
