Morton vs. Elgin

The League 2 clubs and Brora all kept the scores respectable against Championship opposition at the weekend, so I'm hopeful we can do the same but I can't really see us troubling Morton too much

We have several injury worries, O'Ware will definitely miss out. McKeown & Tidser missed the game on Saturday so not sure if they'll be fit this weekend. So we have a very weak defence with no protection from midfield, unless we make a few signings during the week.

We still should be winning this game but we do have Duffy as our manager so anything is possible.

Going for a tight 1-0 win.

From the way Duffy spoke in the Tele the other day, I doubt Frank or McKee will make it but hopefully Tidser will but maybe on the bench. Oware obviously out.

Expecting us to line up something like;

Gaston.

Pepper Kilday Lamie Russell.

Barr Forbes Miller McLuskey.

Peaso Johnstone

Subs.

Tidser

Romario.

Scullion.

Orr.

Adam

...did you even watch us last weekend?

Yup I was there,I might be kidding myself on a bit,but can it be like that 2 games in a row? Plus we might have an option upfront with the signings and I don't think Elgin are up there with Errrmm..Dumbarton so I goin for a home win by 3 clear goals.

It might be foolish optimism but hope springs eternal and all that shiite

I hope you're right but I remember heading to Edinburgh last year with a spring in my step. With Morton, you shouldn't really take anything for granted.

We'll win this one. Getting put out of a cup by Spartans was quite 'quirky'. To follow this up with a defeat ( at home) to Elgin should result in Dougie handing JD a roll of black bin bags to put his 'stuff' in. No pressure.
