KilsythCoyle
How's the squad looking for the weekend in terms of injuries etc??
Euzi
Think we should be back to almost a full squad. Easton probably still out. Some of the lads rested last week could have played if needed.

Euzi
Not the greatest game I've seen today but another 3 points in the bag. Yoker had a great chance to go 1 up but Arbuckle balloned his shot miles over the bar. Nicky Prentice played a lovely cross to the backpost and Joe Barclay nodded it home for 0-1. Kilsyth had the ball in the net a 2nd time but the ref ruled it out for a push altho the assistant told us it was for shirt pulling. Looked like it was going to finish 1-0 but Paul Stewart picked up a Paul Mcbride knock down and fired home for 2-0 to Kilsyth.

KilsythCoyle
So it's now been a couple of days since our very convincing win against a stubborn Yoker team. How do we all think things will go on Saturday in the Scottish? I personally don't know a lot about Culter, or many of the Northern teams tbh, so will be an interesting one!! Be good to see us back at Duncansfield though, dawning the New Kit?? Lol

Think Kilsyth will be in the next round of the hat tho without too much complaints ????????
glensmad
We played Culter at this stage last season, initially up in Aberdeen. We were 1-0 down going into the last 10 minutes and we were down to 10 men, but we managed to grab an equaliser to bring them back to Rutherglen for a replay. The replay was the opposite. We were 2-1 up going into the last five minutes and Culter were down to 10 men, but they scored with two direct free kicks in the closing minutes to put us out. Culter went on to beat Falkirk away from home in a replay in round 3 after another initial home draw, then they lost narrowly 2-3 at home to Linlithgow Rose in round 4. Heskey
This game will probably be defined by what culter team turn up. Struggled with injuries to key players, look a really good team one game then struggle the next.
auldgeezer
We'll concentrate on our own performance and make sure the boys are ready. fingers crossed for a good performance.
KilsythCoyle
Exactly! All we're interested in is our own performance and let the opposition bother about us! Here's hoping for a good game and a win for us!!
Euzi
Wasnt a great performance today but what a cup tie! Glad to be in the draw for the next round. Should have been out of sight early on but didnt take our chances. Culter had 2 great chances before they took the lead. Kilsyth levelled when Chris Reid deflected a Michael McGee shot past the Culter goalie. 1-1 ht. Less than a minute into the 2nd half and Kilsyth were ahead when young Corey Pearson fired home after good work from Nicky Prentice. Prentice was then turned scorer after being set up by Joe Barclay. Culter pulled another back late on with a deflected free kick. Ft 3-2 Kilsyth
c'mon kilsyth
It is not often a goal is scored with last touch of first half, then another is scored within 30 sec of the startvof the second. Good win, although culter did look dangerous especially in first half. Pleased to be in next round.

The assistant flagged right away. Wasnt a great deal of protest from the Culter players.
