The Spider
even without knowing any details, I think I can say with some confidence that QP & Edinburgh City could only aspire to the level of crap you refer to! (to anyone stumbling across this, yes............this really is a thread about "our crap is worse than your crap" oneupmanship)

QPSAFalkirkFirm
1 nil to the Forfar if we dont get a striker, this is for the season Thought Swankie was a striker? And there's a giant up front too. Don't be stealing our "we need a striker" excuses.
Panama
Thought Swankie was a striker? And there's a giant up front too. Don't be stealing our "we need a striker" excuses. Swankie is sometimes played as an out and out striker but it's a bit of a waste when he gives you more and better options. The giant is getting a tad elderly and rarely gets a whole game. Good at setting up other strikers...which at this point means ...naebody!

stumigoo
I'm in Glasgow so going to this tomorrow. Haven't seen any of Forfar preseason but by all accounts it has sounded pretty poor (lack of any real creativity upfront). Still, a visit to Hampden is always fun so looking forward to this and hopefully a Forfar win.
Hampden Diehard
I would assume that Gus will be using this one to experiment a little more, especially up front. I would love him to play two up front, or at least the one plus a midfielder off him. Bradley, apparently, did this for Beith. Has anyone heard anything about Shaun Rooney signing for another club? He did play the first half down at Beith for us ten days ago. Would love to see him back, even on loan.

The Spider
as the home team, there's more of an onus on us to win tomorrow as opposed to last week's "not to lose" approach (which unfortunately was matched by our opponents thereby creating a form of "handbags" football......dire barely described it), so hopefully we'll see a more aggressive formation which will provide Carter with some meaningful support in Gus we...........................err...........................keep fingers crossed for
