Be interesting to see people's thoughts and predictions. Your team? Arbroath. What is your main hope for your club this season? Promotion. Where do you think your team will finish? 2-4th Who do you think will win the league? Clyde. They seem to have made some good signings, well so I am told, so I imagine if Ferguson gets things right they'll be up there. Who do you expect to be in the promotion play offs? Stirling, ourselves and East Fife. ..... Relegation play offs? Montrose. Just can't see them improving on last year. Your teams best player? Bobby Linn, sure everybody in this league already knows about him. Class act. New signing you're most excited about? David Gold or Jamie Reid, can't decide, they both look like good signings from what I've seen. Lumsden seems to have them playing in a role they like. I think they could play a part in a very tricky supporting 3, along with Bobby Linn. Player you're most worried about from another team? Doris. Hopefully won't score on his returns to Gayfield or against us. I'd hate that. Ferguson from Clyde is also a very tricky player. How do you expect your team to line up, potential strengths and weaknesses? 4-2-3-1. I think if we keep Little/Hay and Munro fit we will be very good defensively this season. I imagine we will play with a Linn/Reid/Gold trio in behind the striker. I'm not sure what our biggest weakness would be at the moment. Potentially scoring goals. Big seasons coming up for Coult and Grehan, they need to keep clear of injury and get back to their best. Young Hester has no pressure on him but it's his breakthrough season so we will just have to see how he gets on. Away day you're most looking forward to? Montrose obviously. Any personal goals? To get down to Annan and get that ground ticked off my list. Bonus/something you'd like to see happen? Ferguson, Sean Dickson and bobby linn Expect to line up with a typical 442, strengths will be pacy wing men, strong centre halves and partnership of Smith and Austin. But Mark McLaughlin is absolutely perfect in every single way.New signing you're most excited about? Excited about most of them. Archie Campbell the most, possibly. Player you're most worried about from another team? Can't really see many troubling us throughout the season. Bobby Linn, maybe? That's about it.How do you expect your team to line up, potential strengths and weaknesses? 3-5-2, strong in defence but a little bit short of pace in the middle of the park and no clear source of goals (so far) going forward.Away day you're most looking forward to? If we can get a goalscorer in, we can win it. Who do you think will win the league? I think Clyde will be slight favourites. I'm not sure they have a better first 11 than us but they do have more goals in them. Who do you expect to be in the promotion play offs? 3 of Us, Clyde, Queen's Park and Berwick. (The other being the Champion) ..... Relegation play offs? Montrose. A terrible season last season and they've lost some of their better players. Your teams best player? Bobby Linn - best player in the league. New signing you're most excited about? Jamie Reid - with him and Linn on the wings, we will create chances - it's just about having someone to finish them. Player you're most worried about from another team? Peter Weatherson - bullied us at times last season. Graham Hay should be a stiffer opponent for these physical strikers. How do you expect your team to line up, potential strengths and weaknesses? Lumsden initially suggested that he intended to go 4-4-2 but with the personnel in place, I imagine he'll go 4-2-3-1. We currently have a number of decent central midfielders so will surely use a formation that utilises 3 of them. Obvious weakness is upfront and could be what sees us come unstuck. Grehan and Coult have shown glimpses of all-round play but neither are goalscorers while Hester looks the opposite. Away day you're most looking forward to? Lots of good trips in this division. Last game is away to Elgin, should be good. Any personal goals? To cut down my fish supper intake at Berwick. Bonus/something you'd like to see happen? Double figures against Montrose. QP are guaranteed a play-off spot thanks to Gus, but it'll be turgid shite and not enough to see em promoted as usual. Fancy Fife to do well but again, unsure of their gaffer. Clyde should have the quality to make the play-offs and assuming they put a late run together, the beautiful chaps from Broadwood may go up. Relegation play offs? Stirling Albion. Their arses will collapse - they were the worst team to get promoted in a long time and were the worst performing team in L1 since us in 2008. We finished 9th the season after, and L2 is stronger now. They'll do well to avoid relegation. Your teams best player? Probably Steven Notman. Predictably out for the first month or two.New signing you're most excited about? On paper, Michael McKenna. I'm only going by the players who were at the club last season for this question. Fully fit, Steven Doris is amongst the best in the league. New signing you're most excited about? JP McGovern Player you're most worried about from another team? Lewis Coult as he's obviously the best player in this league....in his own head. Na seriously, like everyone else, probably Bobby Linn, surprised he is still playing at this level.
