HibeeJibee
Will this potentially mean re-doing the North/South districts redistribution?
Burnie_man
Currently 13 South, 16 North. No fixtures issued yet so there is still the opportunity to move a club over from the North. If they dont and its a mild winter, it could be a short season for some South clubs.

victor meldrew
If any club is to move them if imagine it would be lochore this time. Personally IMO, it's too late this season to make changes. With only few weeks to go til season starts it would seem ridiculous. Lochore may have lost out on key signings due to being placed in North league, so to then move them now into South may be harsh on them. It's only my opinion btw, Lochore and the management team there may very well welcome any move South. Just another instance of the current setup not working though, left with a league of possibly 13 teams isn't the best. I'm sure thy won't be the last club to take a year out either. I think the 13 was to include lochore welfare in the south . As their is only 12 teams including harthill in the south league plus easthouses lily which made your

BlackandWhite
There was 14 as Kirkcaldy are now South. With Harthill going into abeyance it will be down to 13.

The simple solution is to move Lochore over now, so we have a 14/15 split and give clubs a reasonable amount of home games (as well as continue playing beyond April), remains to be seen if the sensible solution is followed. surely not!
Why would Harthil's withdrawal be an example of the league set-up not working? Spot on. Heard it all when someone claims the league set up doesn't work because it doesn't account for what would happen if a team suddenly decided not to take part. Oh how foolish the organisers must be.
non_sequitur
Leagues should have been split 15 in each tae start with so if one clubs pull oot you still have 26 games.
victor meldrew
Harthill won't be the last club to take a year out with the current setup. Teams shouldn't be moved around regions depending on how many teams are in each league.

Teams shouldn't be moved around regions depending on how many teams are in each league. Tell us how that is connected given Harthill haven't been moved anywhere? I doubt Harthill's year in abeyance has anything to do with what clubs are in the South Division.
victor meldrew
I'm not saying that was harthills reason, I'm merely saying in the current set up then more teams will follow. Hope I'm wrong but doubt it
