442
Yes thats correct What a signing that is, hats off to the management team for pulling that one out the bag. Some other good signings in there to, shows that Buffs can attract big players again. I also hear there is major work being carried out at the ground to. Keep up the great work to all those involved. energyzone
Is this the same Gary McDonald that played with Killie, Aberdeen, St Johnstone? He lives in Kilwinning so it was probably an easy decision to leave Peterhead. Only 13 months ago he was part of the St Johnstone side that won the Scottish Cup. I don't know him but hopefully he'll take it seriously and be under no illusions how difficult a league he'll be playing in. The few times I saw Kilwinning play last season they were lacking a strong central midfielder so hopefully he'll he'll strengthen the side. Marlowe
Was he not at school with Ian Cashmore? I believe his brother was also an excellent player.
Armchairfan
On paper atleast he appears to be a great signing, if he is fit and up for the challenge then should easily be one of the better players in that league
funky monkey
Agree that Buffs lacked a strong central midfielder last season, so to get a player of Gary McDonalds calibre in is very pleasing, hopefully, coming from Kilwinning he'll be right up for it. Adam Strain is another good signing and will improve the goalkeeping position. The only area of concern now is the fullback positions, will we have a regular right back this season, is Barry Fleeting to continue at left back? The quality of the squad is looking good, hopefully we will be competitive in the super first. Onwards and upwards COYB!
Hertha/BJFC1938
Was he not at school with Ian Cashmore? I believe his brother was also an excellent player. Yes he's a lifelong friend of Cashy . The guy had a few offers to join other junior clubs but he knocked them back to play for his local team and it no doubt would be for far less money. Credit to the guy . The Moonster
Good luck to Joe Coleman and Kilwining this year. I'm a bit disappointed we didn't hold onto him as he was showing promise but it may have been right for him to move on. Hopefully he can kick on playing regularly at Buffs. fan of the juniors
Good luck to Joe Coleman and Kilwining this year. I'm a bit disappointed we didn't hold onto him as he was showing promise but it may have been right for him to move on. Hopefully he can kick on playing regularly at Buffs. Joe was poor at us last season although he was sparingly used. But as a say any time he played he didn't do enough to justify keeping his place in the team LADESIDE
