Rab B Nesbit
Brilliant stuff Hibbee ... I'll even be able to nip home for my lunch and dinner in between on the Saturday
cheeky
6:15 KO on a Sunday night Castle Douglas to Preston Ath. Delivered the short straw tie there. Why are there two East of Scotland games included They are not LL. And if so why early KOs on the Saturday. Because of the distance involved surely not the most sensible timing of games. Ye could say the same for Edinburgh City having to be at Dalbeattie for a Sunday pub league 11 o c kick off last season. Unfortunately 3 into 2 doesn't go as far as Dumfries and Galloway teams are concerned so there's always gonnae be the odd team that has the inconvenience off travelling for the groundhop weekend. It seems to have been an overwhelming success last season so by looks of it you've either got to like it or lump it.

Take that as your alternative to relegation 2 EoS games added to expand the weekend and as a starter for a full EoS ground hop in 2016-17.

Rab B Nesbit
I'm not sure what the EoS League fixtures will now be but the Lowland League ones have been changed ... Friday 11th March 2016 (7:00pm) Gretna 2008 v Dalbeattie Star Saturday 12th March 2016 Whitehill Welfare v Gala Fairydean Rovers (11am) Preston Athletic v Threave Rovers (2pm) Spartans v University of Stirling (5pm) Edinburgh City v East Kilbride (8pm) Sunday 13th March 2016 Edinburgh University v Selkirk (12 noon)

The organizer is claiming it's him who's changed it, at the request of some his signed-up customers. Aye. Right ! So the 5th tier of Scottish football bends over so readily when commanded to do so, does it ?... Seems to me it's more about clubs quite rightly wanting the Sunday off for Hibs being in the League Cup Final and thereby telling him tough luck he's no having his Sunday afternoon & evening shows. Anybody from Whitehill Welfare and Preston Athletic care to comment which way round it was ? - who told who ?

The way the weather is going I can see most of those hop games getting washed away anyway apart from the Spartans game. Bit dodgy planning something like that in Scotland in mid March. surely not!
Why wouldn't the fifth tier of scottish fitba bend over for the guy when the same tier has decided to change the fixtures that have been known for months due to a team in the second tier playing a game?
