Any word on the North/South League split for next season

I heard Coupar Angus were coming back and saw mention of Kirkcaldy Ym going South

I would guess that Kinnoull and Dundee North End must be North so where does that leave Glenrothes and possibly Lochore Welfare??

Anyone know the official league split?

Glenrothes, North End and Kinnoul down to North, Coupar Angus return to North, Kirkcaldy YM moved to South and Easthouses Lily join South

14 South, 16 North.

Shousld have moved lochore its a joke sjfa should have made it easy 15 15 split wi lochore in south but no thts to easy for them theyve got to do something that no one can believe every single year #embarrasment

In a selfish way I'm glad Lochore stay North as I enjoy going there and having a crack with their supporters

From a commonsense point though it doesn't make much sense that YM go South when geographically they are further away than Lochore for most teams coming North

No midweek is disappointing though can't see why there isn't at least 2 midweek fixtures to get the league up and running. There are bound to be the usual call off November through to February so every team will fall behind and have to play too many fixtures at the tight end of the season

At least an even number means no free weeks I suppose but still can't get my head around no early season midweek games

Are the clubs given the option of taking midweek fixtures or is it dictated to them by committee?

They have probably given Super League teams more early fixtures as they feel they are the ones who will play more games during the season.

Dont know if the Premier will be given games.

Some district clubs finished early and some late so its impossible too gauge when each club will finish,

A 6 month fixture list until xmas would help slightly.

Software is easily found online and you can arrange fixtures so everyone has played each other once,

fit in cup games on specific weekends.

If there are cancellations so be it and can be rearranged at a later date,

If the Scottish is cancelled yes have it the following week and cancel the league game,

Im sure if theres 1 scottish cup game off in the same area there will be a few so you could re arrange local league or cups if required.

I don't see the fixtures being out for the majority of the season really being a problem

If games have to be rescheduled due to weather call offs so be it this happens in any event

It would allow clubs to plan their hospitality and to produce programmes instead of everything having to happen over a 5-13 day period.

Last season the first half dozen or so fixtures were released and it worked well only to fall into disarray when they started giving the fixtures out on a weekly basis

There will be two midweek fixtures for Super and Premier League, none for North or South, reasoning being that the top two divisions are more likely to have a heavier schedule with staying in cups longer.

That said, with both Kelty and Lithlithgow in the big Scottish, and with two byes in the first round of the East of Scotland, why not just allocate the byes to Kelty and Linluthgow.....
