RobRoyGuy
Something caught my attention the other day. Celtic under 16s girls team v Dundee city score 29 -0 , Scottish cup tie at k park ek, what caught my attention was there was an admission 5 quid adults, 3 quid concessions. That's the same price it would cost an adult to watch Talbot meadow, Pollok Arthurlie, or Linlithgow boness , 50 pence more to watch the girls game and you a concession staggering really. Not advocating increasing the admission prices in juniors as i believe it should always be of a good price for your supporter who wants to watch local football. Not sure if the girls charge that all the time just seeing it though online gets you thinking and you realise what a great grade of football we have at a cheap affordable price something to be proud of. pleslie99
Pretty sure all girls/ladies Scottish cup ties are all pay at the gate. Same I believe for all top flight games in woman's game.

When you say not advocating an increase in admission prices - are admission prices set in stone by sjfa or is it not down to each individual club to charge what they wish? It is set by each region but there is a proposal to increase them at the West Region AGM tomorrow night.

drs
Its Junior football though, any club paying anything more than expenses needs their heads examined.
Southside Bankie
Was women's teams not under 16s. Unusual to charge for these games. Adding insult to injury for the Dundee contingent
Hertha/BJFC1938
Prices need to go up - wage demands don't go down do they? Very very true. The amount of times at lots of clubs games when you hear fans abusing players and when challenged by someone to try and encourage players they give it ; " I pay my money and I pay their wages so I will shout what I want " . Sadly you don't even scratch the wages from money through the turnstiles and junior clubs at the top end need to rely majorly on sponsorship and fundraising events to pay the wages. Often junior clubs can lose money just by hosting a game due to wages , win bonuses etc. I think £5 and £2.50 is great value and it's been priced at that for a long long time. Our grade is great value and should stay that way and pride itself on that. The league you guys are starting in should be no more than 4 quid to get in in my opinion. Point is 5 quid to watch a woman's game like that is a bit ridiculous.

Sergeant Wilson
Give it a try H. Glasgow City are a very good side. Watched them play twice last season. We've had this argument before, and without being sexist, the women's World Cup winners wouldn't survive in the bottom tier of junior football. It is just a different game.

I've watched lots of the woman's World Cup which thinking logically should blow Glasgow City out the water and I just felt the standard in general at the women's World Cup was rotten. I think a good junior team would take care of any team at the women's World Cup , just my opinion and not wanting to sound sexist .
