EOS Qualifying Cup 2015-16

From what I can see... you haven't played Ormiston away from home since you were both in the EOSL Premier Division in 2001-02, and they were still called Pencaitland & Ormiston. You won 2-1.

Previous season you visited them in the King Cup R2 and won 1-0 in your only cup-tie visit (presumably).

Looks like you last played at Eyemouth in the South Challenge Cup in 2009-10, Second Round NE Zone so probably in the autumn, and skelped them 6-1. Couple of years before that for a trip to Kelso, in R2 of the Image Printers EOS Qualifying Cup in 2006-07, you drew 1-1 and lost 4-2 on penalties.

This competition was of course known as 'the Image Printers East of Scotland Qualifying Cup' up to and including last season. Indeed a partnership of long duration it had been, dating all the way back to 1993 or so. Previous to that the tournament had been sponsored by Holmes McKay whoever they were.

According to Football Nation's twitter they are the new sponsors of 'the Football Nation Qualifying Cup':

Nice shots of the trophy there, incidentally.

Having gone down at home to Wick in the Scottish Cup replay today, according to LL website:

Saturday 24th October

First Round

(2:30pm) - Civil Service Strollers v Whitehill Welfare

I think that is already the third attempt to get it played... having also been cancelled by Civil Service's preliminary tie in the Scottish Cup in August... so what chance it will be waterlogged, snowed-off, abandoned owing to high winds, obliterated by a swarm of locusts, etc. ...

LL and EOSL websites say that the first 3 ties are on Saturday 5th December - along with the Civil Service v Selkirk tie from the previous round - with the Vale v Civil Service / Selkirk tie obviously having to wait.

Semi-Finals are towards the end of January; the Final is March.
