Just had a look on his Facebook there. Not 1 mention of him as signed for Troon, he has agreed terms which is quality, hopefully Cumnock don't ask for silly money now.

Sorry to see Chris go, but I feel the time to part ways is probably right for both parties. Good luck to him, however he has been a bit quick off the mark in announcing things if a fee is yet to be agreed.

I don't think Cumnock will want "silly money", they'll more than likely seek a fair fee for their club captain who has played the majority of his junior career in the top division.

That's a group of death right enough.

Ardagh is sooooo competitive.

Ma money is on Troon for the section and place in semis at least.

They finished 3rd in Ardagh last season after Maybole and Whitletts beat them to be fair. I get your point though and expect Troon to finish first this time.

Midfielder Gareth Turner has left Troon after his contract expired this summer, and I believe he is to join his former Irvine Meadow Manager Chris Strain at Ardrossan Winton Rovers ahead of their return to the Super League First Division.

Gareth's had two spells at Portland Park & has done very well for us over the years, I wish him all the best with his new club next season!

Another player leaving Troon is ex-Dumbarton & Albion Rovers forward Pat Walker, whose contract has now expired. All the best to Pat, hope he gets fixed up with a new club soon!
