Bellsdale Boy Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 There was no way it was a dive at the end. In 8 or 9 years at the club, I've never once seen Andy Reid dive. The keeper caught him and even neutrals at the game thought so. The highlights aren't clear because no.2 blocks the view of it. Didn't think we deserved to be 3-0 down as Masterton's free kicks were the only real difference. Neil was helping the club out as we had no other keeper and I'm sure all of our fans were grateful of that gesture. He admits himself that he could've and possibly should've done better at all 3 goals, as he posted on our own forum. He also made some excellent saves late in the game to keep us in it. He had a great save in the second half tipping it over the bar. Always easy to blame a keeper for a mistake as it usually ends up in a goal but it is the hardest position to play in my opinon got to have balls to do it. Me mare than most hence why am retired at 28 lol. U were helpin oot takes a bigger man to play than sit at hame. As a said on my last post masty can fair hit a ball n no many keepers wid have got to the third. Wiz happy to see my team through but after reading some peoples posts sayin u were helpin oot felt a bit for u. Have respect for u steppin up for ur team n helpin oot. I did not question Andy Reid's ability (which I won't get into), I merely stated that he is a shitebag as more than a few Beith fans have also alluded to in the past. Jeeso buddie, I arrived not long before kick off so had no idea of the keeper situation, would have included your saves knowing that! Was stuck for time over the 5 goals so focused more on the Beith going forward but if anyone can mind or kept note of roughly what minutes the saves took place i'll make a quick video of them.
