AsimButtHitsASix
Is there anyone in Scotland who's still voting for these wallopers? http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/may/21/liz-kendall-labour-leadership-election The MP for Leicester West has previously made it clear that she would reverse Miliband’s opposition to holding an EU referendum and disagreed with his claims that Labour did not overspend the last time it was in power. In a further distancing from his policies, Kendall said Miliband’s flagship energy price freeze had not been believable, that she would not prioritise cutting tuition fees and the party should back any successful school, regardless of its structure. That's just straight up Tory policy aint it? There's absolutey nothing between the two

invergowrie arab
She is also talking about increasing military spending and how under the Tories Britain's place on the world stage has diminished. What a fucking thundercow. Its going to be glorious to see labour implode.
tamthebam
It's amazing how all these twats were quite happy to be in shadow posts under Millibean yet as soon as he resigns they put the boot in. Why would anyone want to vote for such untrustworthy shitebags- you'd almost think they were Lib Dems...

Fide
As I've said before, they haven't a fucking clue. They're utterly desperate to move to the right to try and capture the hearts and minds of Daily Mail reading, casually racist middle England, whilst at the same time having anxiety attacks as the ghosts of Nye Bevan and Keir Hardie whisper "What the f**k?" to them. They genuinely are on the road to implosion.
HTG
They're a symptom of where rUk is heading politically. If that's what they need to do to remain effective in westminster then they'll do it. Whether it works is another matter but they got skelped with a supposedly left wing agenda. This shift in mood down south is why Scotland remaining part of the union untenable. Thumper
The thing is that even the party's supposed lefties are either staying silent on this or actively encouraging it. It's going to be a sight to see when they're wiped off the face of England in five years.
NotThePars
It's amusing to still see people peddling HB's favourite line about Scotland and England being the same politically. The Labour Party are a perfect example of why the union is gubbed.
Scary Bear
http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/politics/politics-headlines/liz-kendall-to-punch-uks-last-coal-miner-2015052298524 LABOUR leadership hopeful Liz Kendall has promised to punch the last surviving British coal miner hard in the face. The punch, which will take place in front of the media at the site of Woolley Colliery in Barnsley later today, is Kendall’s attempt to outflank her rivals on the right. Kendall said: “This miner, who lives in a terraced home on benefits and doesn’t even own a car, represents everything that Labour needs to leave behind. “He worked down the mines for more than 40 years and never invested in the property market, never started his own business, no aspiration whatsoever. “It will be my pleasure to deck him.” Once Kendall has punched 62-year-old Roy Hobbs, she will confiscate the instruments of the Woolley Colliery Brass Band and melt them down to make a statue of Alistair Campbell. Hobbs said: “She’s Labour, so I’m sure it’s for the best.”
AsimButtHitsASix
Chuka Umunna (2007): In the 90s, Labour was obsessed with "Worcester woman", "Sierra man" and all the "pebble dash" people. No one is suggesting Labour dumps the support of these people, many of whose votes the party won for the first time in 1997. Paradoxically, these new Labour voters have stayed loyal, so it is not their votes the "no lurchers" should be worrying about; it is the 5 million voters - public sector workers, manual workers, black and minority ethnic people and urban intellectuals - who have left in droves since 1997, that should concern them. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2007/jun/09/gettingleftbehind Chuka Umunna (2015): First, we spoke to our core voters but not to aspirational, middle-class ones. We talked about the bottom and top of society, about the minimum wage and zero-hour contracts, about mansions and non-doms. But we had too little to say to the majority of people in the middle. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/may/09/labours-first-step-to-regaining-power-is-to-recognise-the-mistakes-we-made
