I played a handful of games with ashfield at the end of this season just to get some playing time. And it's fair to say I was kept busy! At 31, I've still got a few seasons left in me after a break for a couple of seasons due to family/work commitments. My last season playing regularly was with Ashfield in the super premier league in 2012. If anyone wants to take a look at me in pre season feel free to get in touch. Know he took quite a bit of time out of the game due to work commitments and his family. Deserves a chance to impress some club pre-season. Thanks Anton Always tricky putting a post like this on here but well done mate , you have done a good job and came across well , hope you get something sorted , certainly worth having a serious look at if your a super 1st or central 1st side and needing a keeper. I know you don't get many folk agreeing with you on your wide-ranging opinions - the game is about them and that is what a forum should be all about - but I am with you totally on your comments about Anton. Since his original post, he has made contact, and I am hopeful something can be arranged to benefit him by way of preparation for pre-season training with interested clubs. For those who may be trying to CONTACT Anton by phone, text or through this system, it looks as though he is unable to receive any messages. He did manage to send me a PM initially, but I have tried to follow this up with phone calls, text etc, without any luck, so please be aware of this. He was also due to bring in another goalkeeper for the first of many sessions this morning, but I have at this moment still not heard anything.
