Always seems to be the home sides that win these ones, so I'll plump for us. Theres something about Inverness we just don't like so it wouldn't amaze me if we lost this. Inverness win secures third for them, while a win or draw keeps it open, not sure we'll catch them anyway but I was saying that about Hamilton about two months ago.

In terms of line up I imagine Anderson and Easton will come straight back in, but outwith that I'd be a bit surprised to see anything, unless someone picks up a knock.

Would love to see both Swanson and O'Hallaron start this.

Mannus

Mackay Anderson Wright Easton

Millar Davidson

Wotherspoon O'Hallaron Swanson

Graham

Can't see Wright choosing that line up though.

O'Halloran will start on the bench again IMO - the front 4 all played reasonably well together last Saturday so I can't see Tommy changing that.

Any kind of win will do. Beyond caring about performances this season - the result is what matters now.

That true, but I can't help but think that having O'Halloran's pace would be helpful. For all MacLean showed he was getting a bit better on Saturday, he's still the one that should be dropping out for me. I know he won't, but that's what I'd do. Indeed I'd move Spoony central, play MOH down the right and try and stop Shinnie getting forward. I remember he's been stung by rapid pace here before, so why not negate their best player once more.

Just realised Andrew Dallas is the referee for this one. God help us all.......

Not a name I recognise. I take it you have had bad experiences with him previously then?

There's not been a lot between the sides in the two games I've seen this season. A 2 - 1 win up in Inverness earlier this season was cancelled out by a Saints victory just before Christmas thanks to some outrageous cheating by Brian Graham. We also won 2 - 0 in Inverness in January but I wasn't there so can't comment much on that. Certainly agree with the earlier comment(s) about the Home sides tending to emerge as the winner in these games.

Draper is still out suspended for us and Brill is of course still injured. Despite losing against Aberdeen last week we performed well aside from our poor finishing which costs us at least a point. I suspect Hughes will stick with much the same side as last week although perhaps Ross might make way for Doran who impressed in his brief cameo. I reckon we'll line up as follows:

Esson

Raven Warren Meekings Shinnie

Tansey Williams

Watkins Christie Ross (or Doran)

Ofere

Recently, Watkins has often pushed up alongside Ofere with Christie drifting out to the right and Ross tucking into the middle with Shinnie going up and down the left. This stifled Logan completely last weekend who seldom got beyond the halfway line and helped create a number of good chances for us which we simply didn't take. Hopefully we can be more clinical this week. No reason why we couldn't win it but the home teams, as mentioned already, tend to emerge victorious in these recent match ups so with that in mind I'm going for Saints 2 - 1 ICT.

Also we've not scored two goals in a game, in consecutive league games, since April last year. Absolute banker we'll score one at most

Massive game for St Johnstone if we are to have a chance of qualifying for Europe for 4 consecutive seasons! A feat I don't think any club has achieved outside the old firm in recent years never mind a wee club from Perth ;)

We have a decent record at home against them and they have a knack of bottling it when it comes to the big games in the top 6! If anyone deserves Europe its ICT, hopefully though they qualify as cup winners and not through their league position!
