HibeeJibee
England have quit the Victory Shield, bringing to an end their participation in the tournament dating back to 1946. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32405981 Say they want their players "to face opposition from further afield" and that it interferes with their schooling. Given the coverage of Sky potentially rests on the presence of England, will the tournament have to be scrapped? Should it continue as a triangular cup? Invite the Republic of Ireland, or a different guest each season? Will the name have to go?
craigkillie
It's a fairly redundant tournament now anyway, given the amount of games that the proper Scotland youth teams play anyway. Get rid of it.
