Didn't think the ball was over at the game. Impossible to tell, but it could be over the line. I like how Tom Hanlon punches the ball away as well.

Special thanks to both teams for providing a tremendous afternoons entertainment. Pollok where late in arriving, the pies were up to temperature before they turned up.

But turn up they did, & for the opening 35mns they were sublime. David Winters put them in front after a couple of mns with a top class strikers goal from 6yds.

Kieron McAleenan doubled the advantage a couple of minutes later, blasting home a free kick from around 25 yds.

Allan McKenzie came close to putting Pollok 3 up but a fine save from Ross Luny denied him.

MOM Findlay Frye also went close after a blistering Pollok move involving half the team.

Largs pulled a goal back a couple of minutes before half time when a Gary Fleming shot from around 25 yds was deflected past Ryan Ward. I thought the shot was net bound in any case.

HALF TIME - Largs 1-2 Pollok

Largs were excellent after half time & will be very dissapointed not to take at least a point.

Pollok's Mark McLennan helped their cause immensely when he was needlessy manhandled a Largs player on the touchline.

Very good 3 points for the visitors. Brian Slaven & Stuart Davison will be dissapointed to get nothing from this game, but their lads put on a very good performance.

Feel gutted for the Largs boys put in a great 2nd half and deserved a point especially through the hand ball the wee number 2 screamed more than a porno when someone went near him but apart from that well done to Pollok big powerful team will do well in the premier . All the best for the rest of the season

No goal, penalty kick and red card! Think the ref will be a tad embarrassed if he watched that back!

I think the full 90 minutes by the officials was embarrassing not just the incident you have seen on video.

Today we even seen a free kick for Pollok being offside being taken in the Pollok half.

Always play to the whistle. The full ball didn't cross the line but the Pollok defender had his hand raised and in a situation like this, whether intentional or not, if the ball strikes his hand it should have been a penalty. The Largs player had an almost empty net to head into but decided to do a Paulo Di Canio. What was he thinking.....total muppet? Rankbad is right, it gave the ref an easy option.
