Ya Bezzer!
I noticed today that Hearts have three players with 11 league goals this season - Keatings, Sow and Walker - and another two with a realistic chance of getting into double figures - Zeefuik on 9 and Billy King on 8. So my question is if that were to happen, has it ever happened before and are there examples of teams having, say four or more, players with double figure tallies in a season? Rangers in 2007-2008 had four different scorers with 10 or more league goals and did the same again in 2010-2011 Source: http://www.football-lineups.com/team/Rangers/SPL_2010-2011/stats/top_scorers http://www.football-lineups.com/team/Rangers/SPL_2007-2008/stats/top_scorers There's probably more examples but it's not really that impressive when it's Rangers or Celtic. Smurph
Partick Thistle had four in 2012/13 when we got promoted. Chris Erskine (10), Steven Lawless (13), Steven Craig (12) and Kris Doolan (13).
honestly united
Im sure Ayr had 3 players hit 30 goals (league and cup) back in the 80's, Sludden, Walker and Templeton, we scored more than 100 goals that season

Raidernation
I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong (which is likely) but I'm pretty sure sometime within the last 20 years Aberdeen had a season with 4 double figure goalscorers?

NorthernLights
In 92/93 we had Shearer on 22, Paatelainen on 16, Booth on 13 and Jess on 12.

In 1947-48 Henry Morris, Davie Duncan and Jackie Davidson hit double figures. In 1983-84 only Gordon Durie qualifies...

(Deuchar, Grady, McGuffie and Tosh) Without wanting to be that guy, but the financial advantages Gretna had over sides in the Second Division makes their attempt at it pretty unimpressive too. CM.
Must happen in the Championship in England nearly every year with 46 games to play in. Cant be certain but i think Ighalo, Vydra and Deeney have all scored 10+ for Watford this season. Bournemouth aswell have a variety of players that chip in with goals. Wilson, Kermogant, Pitman, Ritchie and Arter have all scored a fair few this season but again I cant be certain on exact figures
DA Baracus
In season 95/96 we had Andy Smith, Greg Shaw and Stewart Petrie score double figures in a league that had Dundee United, Dundee, St Johnstone, St Mirren, Hamilton, Morton, Clydebank, Airdrie and Dumbarton. Cowden Cowboy
A Hearts related post started this thread. A quick look back at the two high scoring League title winning sides for Hearts in 1958 and 1960 reveals that in 1958 6 players - Jimmy Wardhaugh, Dave Mackay, Ian Crawford, Alex Young, Jimmy Murray and Willie Bauld - all made double figure hauls. In 1960 this was surpassed with 7 – Bauld, Crawford, Young, Murray, Johnny Hamilton, Bobby Blackwood and Gordon Smith.
ICTChris
For Caley 2009-10 Adam Rooney - 24 goals Richie Foran - 14 goals Johnny Hayes - 10 goals 2003-04 David Bingham - 13 goals Paul Ritchie - 13 goals Barry WIlson - 11 goals 2002-03 Dennis Wyness - 19 goals Paul Ritchie - 18 goals Barry Robson - 10 goals 1999/2000 Barry WIlson - 12 goals Paul Sheerin - 11 goals Davide Xausa - 10 goals 1998-99 Scott McLean - 19 goals Barry WIlson - 14 goals Duncan Shearer - 12 goals Paul Sheerin - 10 goals I'm sure that we must've had three or four players on 10+ in 1996/97 but can't find the stats. The Nightfly
For 1996/7 I found that Iain Stewart scored 27 and Brian Thomson 10. 8 goals was the next best contributor. The following season the same two players reached double goal tallies again with 16 and 13 respectively. 8 goals was again the next highest.
