madton
Who do you think will be the nominations? From Morton, I'd say Gaston and McManus have been our best and most consistent players. Others with a chance, McMenamin, Prunty, Trouten, Longworth, Swankie. Anyone else? For me, I think Gaston should win it( from a Morton perspective) but I think McManus will be a shoe in for it purely because it always seems to go to strikers.- 15 goals in 27 games is a great return. callum-ayr
Ayr United - However, if Crawford had the full season he'd have been up there.
parsforlife
McManus or McMullan are favourites from what I've seen.
EdinburghBlue
David Mitchell, Jamie Longworth or Steven Bell.
mcintyre_gmfc
Derek Gaston should be involved as he's without doubt the best keeper in the league and won a good few points for us this season. But goals speak volumes and I think McManus will get it. Top goalscorer with 15 I'm sure.
Shandon Par
For comedy value it has to be Michael Moffat. Stevie Bell is a class act - would be my pick.
tonnitus
For comedy value it has to be Michael Moffat. Barrowman's more of a shout - useless at 2 clubs, in the same league, in the same season. Inspirational.
Sinclair Street
Player of the Year - Dec McManus Keeper of the Year - Derek Gaston Young Player of the Year - Mark Russell
SFC1884
I think McMenamin will be a nominee due to the number of goals he's scored, however I don't think he will win it. Personally, i think it'll be between David Mitchell from Stranraer and Declan McManus from Morton. From a Stenhousemuir awards point of view, I'd say McMenamin or Fleming will win our Player of the Year with McMullan or Summers winning the Young Player of the Year. Diamond8
Paddy Boyle, Luca Gasparotto and Lister from Airdrie. I don't think any will get it so I'd go the boy strachan from Peterhead.
DAFC.
Our POTY will determine who has been the least shite of our crop of wasters. Scully, to be fair, has been consistent and has kept us from a relegation scrap. Think McManus will win League 1 player of the year.
SuperTon
McManus or Gaston are the two stand outs from Morton.
USTon
Team of the Year: Gaston (Morton) Pettigrew (Stranraer) Gasparotto (Airdrie) Lindsay (Airdrie) Russell (Morton) Swankie (Forfar) Bell (Stranraer) Forbes (Morton) Barr (Brechin) McManus (Morton) Longworth (Stranraer)

Poet of the Macabre
We'd be in relegation trouble without Scully so he should get an honourable mention. Every other Pars player has been mostly a gutless, empty shirt however,

Diamonds are Forever
On a goals per game ratio Prunty, McManus and McMenamin are much of a muchness, McManus is the better of the 3 though so if you're going for the goals vote he should get it. I've not seen a better defender than Gasparotto or better left back than Boyle, although Russell would have a shout at that claim, but I doubt a defender will win it. McManus will probably win it, and probably should. Which in itself probably sums up the lack of quality in the league this year.
Neilly
McManus will win it but all in all a struggle to pick nominations the quality of the league has been so poor.
venga1
Stranraer have the 2 best players in the league in Gibson and Bell but owing to injuries they probably haven't played enough games to win such an award. Hard to say who our best player had been this season. All contributed a lot at various points. A real team we are. Big Frank McKeown probably most consistent. mas1707
If I had to pick anyone from our side I'd pick Gallagher. Hard working selfless player. Sentimental choice maybe but I think he's been excellent in most games.
