Great to have Sawyers back . Willie divides opinion but i for one like him as a player. Scored 34 goals for us in 35 games last season . Hopefully he can hit the ground running and give us a boost in our promotion push.

He certainly hits the ground, usually after minimal contact.

No a fan of that carry on myself but all good strikers nowadays do it . Hopefully Sawyers is fit not sure of his goals / appearance stats for this season at meadow.

We have a better side than we did last season so with a bit of luck he can bang in a few goals between now and the end of the season maybe help us to 2nd or 3rd in the league and ultimately promotion.

He scored 12 goals in all competitions for Meadow. Still our top scorer by 1 goal but at Meadow we expected 20 plus goals a season from him. He did look dangerous in the box and held the ball up well. He's a good guy and I will put money on it he scores against us next season. Maybe with a fit Maxwell would have worked out better. With Maxwell now very near match fitness and us out everything bar West and us recently signing Finnigan and Horne probably reasons for it.

Decent return but your right he probably should be scoring more goals than that with a team like Meadow. Not sure about scoring against you next season shannon we have a lot of work to do to get promoted.

Maxwell and Hall are really good strikers imo , think Sawyers really needs to be the main man play to his strengths and he will score loads hopefully we can.

Was there a fee involved?

No idea mate

Geo not every team can sign the superstars you sign, most folk at Roy will be happy to have him back weather he played well against Talbot or not.

Arden he has never been the fastest that's not his game. Play to his strengths and your onto a winner especially in the league we are in.

The point still stands though. If he wasn't cutting it in the Prem then what will happen if KRR get promoted? Will they keep him?

Still scored goals v Beith, Cumnock, Glenafton, Shotts and Bankies this season. Played well enough v Talbot away when we won 2-0 so I think will certainly do fine at Rob Roy in Super Premier or Super First. Being the main striker and having full tean playing to his strengths will suit him more.

What point. He was meadow top scorer this season in all comps, he scored 34 goals for us all in last season, twelve in the premier league. Not sure where people get he is not cut out for the premier league maybe they are making the mistake of comparing him with guys like Kean or Gormley which would be unfair.

It's all about making him the main man, get good wide men and a creative player playing off him and he will score goals. Fit and sharp he will score a barrowload not so fit he will still score just not as prolifically.

sorry not good enough.

So in one in a half seasons he has scored 46 goals while playing for premier league clubs and he is not good enough.

Hmmm ok

13 games to Play for us the guy will easily beat the 50 goal barrier over two seasons.

In my opinion your being silly sorry.

Oh for the record i am not saying the guy is the best junior striker i have ever seen but to be critical of a guy with that record and the goals he scored with previous clubs is nonsensical.
